Clarity and release with the full moon in Taurus

Gird your loins and hunker down, astro nerds - this Saturday is the last eclipse along the Taurus/Scorpio axis, and it wants us to finalize the massive changes we’ve been making to our resources and connections since November 2021. Remember that eclipses are randomly chaotic and tend to affect us for weeks after they occur, so take things easy, make no sudden movements, and let the stubborn bull guide you to the next phase of your existence.

Aries/Aries Rising (3.20 - 4.20)

This is a tough one, Aries. The tension regarding how you make your living, as well as the question of whether or not the current living you make is even worth the hassle it puts on your body and mind, has been emphasized to varying degrees over the last few years. The word legacy comes to mind when we look at your decision-making right now, even though the idea of history and legacy usually means jack shit to a head-buster like yourself. But when we worry so much about gathering resources, the question must be asked - what or who are you gathering them for?

Taurus/Taurus Rising (4.20 - 5.21)

Finally, Taurus, you get to hold court on your couch and softly murmur, “Me, me, me, this is all for meeee” as you encourage friends and acolytes to bring over chocolate and wine. You’ve been synthesizing a lot of new information about yourself and analyzing what has been working for you the past couple years, as well as what definitely has not been working, which has eliminated a few people and habits from your periphery. Fuck the naysayers - this eclipse may provide a final bit of information that assures you of your path.

Gemini/Gemini Rising (5.21 - 6.21)

Don’t be surprised if you feel extra unmoored this weekend, Gemini, or if you have to ingest extra edibles just to avoid having a paranoid breakdown. This eclipse is shedding some light on the existential anxieties and fears that you’ve been hiding for a while, or simply chattering over as a way to forget. We have to face our fears, even when they’ve been comfortably buried. (Shit, especially if they’ve been buried.) Denial often leads to escapism, and that can only keep us functional for so long.

Cancer/Cancer Rising (6.21 - 7.22)

You may run into something that tempts you further into the external world than you normally prefer, Cancer, probably because you’re starting to realize that you can positively affect things without totally abandoning who you are or what you hold dear. As hard as it is to turn down attention, and as much as it rings true that no publicity is bad publicity, sometimes you take things too far and can fail to see pitfalls laid in the ground, either due to your own ego or someone else’s. Public failure has a rubber band effect on your desire, causing you to flee underground and hide for periods of time, so try a more balanced approach this go round.

Virgo/Virgo Rising (8.23 - 9.22)

Your preoccupations have been remarkably high-minded as of late, Virgo. Well, high-minded for you. While you normally keep things practical and spend the bulk of your time honing skills with provable results, this weekend may confirm that there is a bit more of the philosopher in you than you let on. You have no problem cutting people and institutions out of your life, and that has happened with a quickness, lately. Take this opportunity to look starkly in the mirror and contemplate next steps. Aquarius/Aquarius Rising (1.20 - 2.18)

It’s okay to shrink your circle now and again, Aquarius. Focus has had to shift in the last year or so to family and other issues that hit close to home, leading to some tug-o-war when it comes to your career and aspirations. Maybe this means downsizing your ambition when it comes to enacting sweeping change professionally, or maybe it simply means you must get better at prioritizing and multitasking. Pisces/Pisces Rising (2.18 - 3.19)
